Cloud saves

If I stop becoming a patron member and then pick it up again later will I still have my cloud saves or no?

Cloud saves are part of Steam, so you need that version to begin with. If you stop becoming a monthly supporter you'll keep everything, you'll just update on the public patch cycle instead of the backer one.
