Chromebook Saving?

I just downloaded the game to a new chromebook and all was well until I tried to save.  Nothing happened at all, which I guess should have been obvious since the file system is probably way different from windows.  Is there any workaround for this?  I haven't been very computer savvy since windows 98.

Should work the same as in a regular browser. Are you trying to save to file? Does anything come up when you click save normally? This should be in Bug Reports.

Should it? Chromebook doesn't run Windows, after all, though if you can play the game I'm not sure why you couldn't save. Try saving to an external drive/card, maybe? My understanding is that Chromebooks can purge their own Downloads files anyway.

Nothing at all happened when I tried to save to file.  Trying a normal save froze the game for a few seconds and the little text box (for labelling saves) dissappeared.  Otherwise, the game just stayed on the save screen as though nothing had happened.

Well kiss my ass.  I just loaded up the game again to double check myself before I hit the post button, and the game is saving normally.  *sigh*  Well, if it happens again, I'll be paying more attention and try to file a proper bug report.  I had an external hard drive attached for a little while yesterday, but I can't remember if it was hooked up when I loaded the game.  Thanks for the help, and sorry for the forum clutter.
