Cheats Not Working?

I'm a backer for TiTs and had a brain fart and deleted my previous download and so I lost everything. I have no problem with starting again as I like the story, the only issue I have is that I can't get the clowncar cheat to work with the V-KO droid on Mhenga. I like that cheat as I don't want my companions to get lonely on the planet I found them on (yes Ik they aren't real and dont have actual feelings).
Is that specific cheat broken or is there another way to input them?

There's a new cheat system in place; load a save, go back to the main menu, and click/tap on the dot in the i in TiTS three times to unlock the cheat menu. After that, it can be found at the bottom of the Options menu.
