I noticed that chitin color is, as far as i know, always black. is there any way to change or alter it?

As far as I know, there is no legit way to change the color. I have never even heard of chitin color being anything other than black in this game.

Yeah exactly. which is kinda bs when you take into account the Myr TFs, if youll excuse my saying so

ok i just checked, you can use the myr tfs to get red and gold chitin, but thats it.

we can control the color of pretty much everything else, so its weird that this is left out. i get that not many tfs use chitin, but still. again, apologies if this is rude of me to say so

I think the problems are that a) no-one's written a dedicated transformative for changing chitin colour, and b) the game isn't actually setting pc.chitinColor with the TFs that are supposed to affect it, so I guess it just always defaults to black. In the meantime, we'll just have to use the console or save edits.
