Carbonado Anti-Grav Thongs Help

The antigrav thongs you can buy from Carbonado has a scene that randomly shows up in which they malfunction and cause a Steele to get aroused from its vibrations. The last paragraph says:

Just as abruptly as it began, the tingle switches off and leaves you with nothing but massive hardons and a gushing pussy and a lot of questions. Your underwear is malfunctioning. If you don’t want any more abrupt episodes like this, you should take it off or return to the store and get it fixed.

I have returned to the shop and talked to Gwen and Eimear separately, gotten the massages, and hung out with them at their apartment. I have also dropped the thongs from inventory and bought new ones. None of these fix the malfunction. I searched the forums here but couldn't find any post about this. Is there a step that I am missing?

While I wasn't able to replicate the 'malfunction' for testing, it seems it's a Hardlight Upgrade Module issue. I'm guessing whoever wrote the scene didn't think about Hardlight Strap-Ons that didn't come from Aliss. Or they didn't exist at the time.
