Can't Install Backer Patch To My Android

I made a thread yesterday asking for help but no luck. So I'll ask once more until just waiting for the public patch, but I very recently started backing CoC2 on SubscribeStar and cannot for the life of me get any of the backer patches to install/update the game. They download just fine but don't give me a prompt to install the patch like it does with public builds. Am I missing some third party app or skipping a step?

When ya get the file, if it has .zip in the name try removing that part.

hold on the file, and when you rename it, just delete the .zip in the name. I dunno how but it changes it to a normal .apk file and works.
