Sorry if this has been brought up before but im a bit of a nooblet at this

Ive noticed on my recent playthrough that the bust for Syri, notably the one by Cheshire has changed/ Is there any way to get the old Cheshire bust back only its my favourite one and im a bit gutted it doesnt appear to be selectable.

The one im refering to is the one seen on the TiTs Wiki (linked below)

There is no way to change it back, the system required to have both of them in-game would require too much work for a single picture, and no, the old one isn't ever going to be added back into the game.

It's unfortunate, but it's the way it is.

I personally think it's easy and that Fen should have saved himself the headache and just included both.

But that's none of my business. If you really want it, you can have it by either compiling or doing what Hugs has done (the sick bastard).

It's not that hard, it's just not worth your time unless you already compile regularly.

Cheshire didn't redo that pic, it was completely new fan art commissioned by Hugs that Fen just happened to like more than the previous pic, so he replaced it.

I commissioned the new Syri busts.

Chesh's commissions are closed indefinitely, she's not a FenCo employee either, so no, her other ones are not being redone, nor do they need to be.

Eh, I'd prefer to ask questions in the active post rather than search through 50,000 other threads for the exact same topic that may or may not even be there.

Not necessarily. Not at all actually. I said too much work for a single picture. That makes it clear (or should have to anyone who knows English and reads) that the amount of work necessary isn't worth it, not that Fen is incapable. Hence my reading comprehension remark.

Also, you said I didn't know what I was talking about and proceeded to explain the system like I didn't know how it worked. From my point of view, that is an attempt to argue a different point of view.

I was about to just apologize and give you the benefit of the doubt but then I opened up the code and, using Maniacpaint as a reference (he only has like one bust), I'm now firmly on the "it would take like 2 minutes tops boat". It takes a whopping 18 lines of code, 6 of which are curly braces, and 6 of which are for the nonexistent image pack.

Now I can confidently say that when Fen said "that’s a whole mess I don’t wanna deal with" he really meant "I don't feel like it lol ¯\_(ツ)_/¯". Of course, that's a perfectly valid reason.

I apologize for the back and forth bickering. I was just sitting here scratching my head and wondering like "there's no way it could take that long".
