It's also just a blue egg / turgid mushroom potion. You're not missing out on anything.

As mentioned it's not in the public build yet. It's functionally identical to the Blue Egg (TM) that you can make with alchemy so aside from getting you a free one of those, its only real value is that if you use it during the tutorial it unlocks a scene with Cait that you can't see otherwise.
