What the thread says on the tin: what is the best faction, in your opinion, from Mount and Blade: Warband?
They are as follows:
-The Kingdom of the Nords: Norse folk with heavy infantry and skilled archers that are good both in close quarters and at range, but completely lack cavalry and are slow moving. They have a raven as their symbol.
-The Kingdom of the Vaegirs: Russian-type folk with the best foot archers in the game, heavy cavalry, and lots of two-handed weapons. Their troops are also inexpensive, making them a good source of soldiers. However, they are lightly armored, making them vulnerable. They have a snow leopard as their symbol.
-The Kingdom of Swadia: The Western European faction, with powerful knights who are arguably the best heavy cavalry in the game, as well as good heavy infantry. However, they aren't too great at range, and their soldiers are very expensive. Predictably, their symbol is a lion.
-The Kingdom of the Rhodoks: Similar to the italian city states, they have heavy infantry and excellent crossbowmen, who can easily defend against cavalry. Unfortunately, they don't have cavalry, and are not very fast. Their symbol is a bear.
-The Khergit Khanate: They are basically the Mongols, having almost all mounted troops and excellent horse archers, making them very good on the open field of combat. Unfortunately, if they are in a siege, they are an absolute joke and are unlikely to succeed. Their symbol is a wolf.
-The Sarranid Sultanate: Essentially the Middle Eastern faction of the game, they are good at skirmishing and have excellent heavy cavalry and are incredibly versatile. However, their units tend to be somewhat weaker than their respective counterparts. Their symbol is an eagle.
