Berwyn missing

So, I realized after beating Asissa and saving winter city, I forgot to finish fighting Berwyn and helping to fight Mathia. I run back to try and finish it afterwards,but I cant't Find him at all anywhere. Did I screw up and need to start over?

I fought him twice, but progressed with a bunch of other stuff before realizing "He never asked me to help him, did he?" So I wen't looking in the Foothills for him. Thankfully i didn't miss out on the quest, it just prioritizes enemies like the ink succubus after saving winter city. That or my luck is just bad because it took fourty minutes to find him after that.
