"So, this is my new house," Lusamine beamed rubbing her full belly.

Suddenly, a scream from across Hawkthorne plaza shook the Champion and Lusamine from their revelry.

"What did you do to my house!" Clementine bellowed, her face so red that it tinged her wool pink. Clementine ran to Lusamine's house which now sat on the same lot that Clementine's did. She barreled her way forward, "By the Seven! Did you bury my house and build yours on top. Why did you do that? How did you do that?"

[A Few Hours Ago]

Gath looked at the near bursting money purse that Lusamine handed over to him. He scratched his chin, "So you want to build your house on top of someone else's?" Garth stared at the doe eyed look Lusamine was giving him. Garth shrugged and pocketed the purse, "Sure, I know some guys that build houses on top of other houses."

"Why?!" Clementine shook Lusamine by the shoulders, fortunately for Lusamine, both of their full bellies prevented Clementine from getting good purchase.

"It seemed like a good idea at the time," a thoroughly dazed Lusamine sputtered out.

Clementine stared at the Champion who could only dumbfoundingly shrug.

Lusamine, as soon as she regained her bearings, pleaded with Clementine, "Can't you forgive me as a fellow Ruminant?"

"Ruminant," Clementine pinched her nose trying to will away her oncoming migraine, "You're a wild elf, not deerkin."

"Oh right," Lusamine looked side to side for another desperate excuse, "Can you forgive me as a fellow baby mama to the Champion."

Clementine looked at her full belly, then at Lusamine's full belly, then at the Champion who could only offer up another shrug.

Clementine huffed, "I am not dealing with this today. I'm going to go to the basement which was formally my kitchen, and you had better not have touched my pickled clovers or else you'd wish you'd be answering to Lumia."
