Synopsis: You starting to play in the role of freelance programmer, whos career is not so successful as expected. Currently you are desperately seeking for the client who would buy the surveilance software you have been working on for a while and you hope it will make you filthy rich. In the meantime, your sister is having argue with her daughter whether she will go on college or not. This argue ends in having your niece in your apartment free room. And she is currently looking for a job instead going to the college in order to be independent...

Will there be a demo or public release of older versions? Right now it looks like only $10 patrons can play what's there. Also, do you mind me asking what your native language is? You're English is pretty good but "golden fish" isn't an idiom I'm familiar with.

Considering the story description is about a niece that is looking for a job rather than going to college, 18+ seemed like a given to me. Explicit mentions of college/university aren't as nebulous about age as students in an unspecified school or in their last year of high school even if you specify that they're teens.

Hi guys,

All my games will be ultimately free (in two or three weeks there will be v.0.0.2)... but in order to cover at least some costs I chose to go on Patreon first and be very grateful to those who support me from beginning.

Regarding golden fish I admit it sounds odd in english I was actually thinking already to change it and here first post already pointing on that... you made my day :D In my native language it means "brings fortune to you"... from some russian fairy tale I think...

You did it backwards you do a few public then do the campaign of backers get it first, i like the concept, but with zero proof of concept you not gonna get much of a following if at all. Think of the first few as samples people who like it will pay up even before patron first system but with this system so damn early I am not sure this should be on the follow list, 10 bucks just to see if you not a scam artist, and I like where its going. Nope, I keep pumping in 5 buck donations a month to guys who make thousands a month with almost no patron only posts, before I fall for that trap.

I get your point and I fully agree with you... although I have to react in order for you to have clear picture...

1.) Regarding mentioning "Scam artist" - last year all my free time after work (and many times during work, but dont mention to my boss :D) I have spent in improving my knowledge and experience in various programs which need to be used to create the interactive point clicking game with music and 3D models, do you think I would let it go? If crazy car driver will not hit me on the pavement I can make you 100% sure that I will not. It is simply my passion...

2.) Currently all my colleagues from work are on the firm party, but I am rendering here while I am typing this because I feel very grateful and committed to those 20+ patrons which already pledged and I am not going to make them wait more that is absolutelly unnecessary.

3.) I am simply against using any pirate software therefore if you count together licenses for all these stuff and game assets, you can imagine that it can drain the funds... if I want to use quality for future updates I must keep pumping... for each buck I receive this month I will surely pump twice as that... not mentioning earning it.

Last but not least thanks to those 20+ patreons my girlfriend is finally calm regarding my spending spree... :D

Well I tried the game... I'm sorry, I really can't say much good about it. The character models are... OK I guess, but everything about the gameplay is incredibly frustrating and unintuitive. Trying to navigate your apartment is an exercise in frustration, working out the correct sequence of certain sections is annoying (seriously, you have to EAT A PIECE OF FRUIT before you're allowed to put your suit on for the interview with the secretary?) and there are too many auto-fail choices that don't reveal you've failed until much later- after I failed by bankruptcy at dinner with the client because I didn't get the secretary (even though from what I'd been able to see it didn't seem POSSIBLE to recuit the secretary because there are only 2 choices and the first one seemed like a no-brainer while both options in the second choice are a fail) and realised my playthrough was stuffed I just gave up and deleted the game. You need to work on making the story more forgiving and less "you must make these exact choices or you get an automatic game over". If people want challenge they play Dark Souls, not pornographic visual novels.

But honestly, there is walkthrough to the whole game and even hotspot navigator implemented... so don't tell me it was hard for you...

Dude, don't start with the "maybe you're the one with the problem" bullshit in response to critical feedback. You shouldn't NEED a walkthrough for a visual novel just to avoid getting an instant Bad End. I made what I thought were sensible choices for the path I wanted to take through the game and it led nowhere, because I apparently made ONE wrong choice. That's poor game design.

You seem to me very confident about your opinion... but it is still only your opinion and I would like to hear more opinions. I always try to satisfy as much needs of players as I can. I will make a survey and ask about this all the patreons, whether players would like to have instant bad ends or not.

I personally like when I am under false feeling that game is going well and suddenly I realise that this path is dead end.

Well the problem is they AREN'T instant! I failed to recruit the secretary, despite trying both Direct and Subtle options (seriously, was the mistake I made NOT being a rude asshole to her when I arrived late?), and assumed you were SUPPOSED to fail on the first meeting and meet her again later. Then, quite a long time later, I hit the unavoidable game over, meaning everything I did after failing to recruit the secretary was a waste of time. If it HAD been an "instant" game over I wouldn't have minded as much.

If you apologise, you take the conversation the other way where she feels more confident... the main goal with secretary is not become friend with her, but to focus on her unfulfilled urges...

hey! I'm now one of the storywriters for the game (since version 0.0.4) and I'd like to know your opinion. You made some valid points at a very early stage of the game, but have you kept playing it? In case you have, how is it going? Any thoughts you'd like to share?

Nnnnno, sorry, I just left the game because it seemed apparent to me that the things I didn't like about it were intentional choices that were ingrained in the game and weren't going to change, so it wasn't worth my time to continue. Afraid I can't help you.

Save the sarcasm for someone who gives a fuck, mate.

You give so much of a shit about every 2-bit porn game out there, why don't YOU spend time playing and giving feedback on them. I gave my feedback before and the response from the developer was "well that's YOUR opinion", so I decided the game wasn't worth my time. I think that's fair enough, and if you think it isn't then I don't care what you think.
