Hey, here are some characters that I’ve seen are popular online:

I’m wondering if any of them are waifus and, if so, which ones are best.

Hmmmmm...I think I need to double check the definition of "waifu"

Well, they aren't Speedwagon, so I guess they aren't waifus.
While it’s true that Speedwagon is best girl, that doesn’t necessarily mean other characters can’t be waifus.

Some can be waifus and some can be husbandos. Ultimately, that's up to the person and his/her tastes.

My tastes say "meh". Anyway, I'm not into waifubando stuff.

True fact: I am married to the Ocean. -w-

You must be really sexy, because the Ocean is always wet.

Also, none of the OP's pics are even close to my waifu. It helps that my waifu picks are obscure and little known, giving me the unhealthy illusion they belong to me alone.

It always struck me that people were missing the point of something when they would try to pointlessly gender a word that's referring to an abstract idea that isn't.

You don't need a male variant of something like Mary Sue or waifu, the idea of a tacky author-favorite character or yearning after a fictional character weren't gendered in the first place.
