When you say "big Cuz" why do I get the feeling that Jack/Jill has mutated into either some kind of super behemoth or some kind of monster resembling a super mutant?

Savin probably meant "writing the {big encounter with} Cuz" rather than "writing the encounter with {big Cuz}" - big modifying encounter, not Cuz. From the last encounter with the Rival, it seems the Rival wanted to be a Cat-{girl|boy} and now has achieved their wish.
