Amulet of Transference not becoming Amulet of Union

I started a new character, and have been trying to work towards the Kiyoko summon from the Amulet of Union. AFAIK, the change SHOULD happen around the time of Kinu's birth. I am well past Kinu's birth and still have the amulet of transference. Was the summon/change to amulet of union removed and I just never realized? Thanks!

Update: I have done a few kinu events and the amulet changed and the power with it. Not sure why it took 4 pregnancies and getting into Khor Minos, but it is done.

It should happen upon talking to Kiyoko after Kinu is born, but if you get any special events to proc they'll replace the one where the amulet is upgraded so it may not necessarily happen the first time you try.
