Not sure if this was left out on purpose or not, but usually on the flash version when you start as a leithian you get unique accent markings of glowing yellow stripes that follows along the lining of the chitinous scales on the leithian limbs. I tried it on the Java version and it was completely missing in both the appearance description and in the general stats of your player character.
