Abstinence run?

Yeah I know, kinda weird to wanna do that in a game like this, but even so I want to know how doable would it be to do an abstinence run?

I figured virginity run would be fairly easy since a lot of sex scenes have the option for oral or anal, so just to take it one step further I wonder if it's possible to get through the current chapters without ever having sex. In particular what quests/characters will have sex be an unavoidable option?

Off the top of my head I know I won't be able to proceed with Kiyoko's questline since I need to make her pregnant, though I'm debating if I could technically get away with this via playing a female character with a magic strapon. I also know Etheryn needs to be relieved frequently so not entirely sure how to deal with her.

Any advice for this would be great! I'm thinking of doing either a charmer for extra irony, plus I like the picture that my character is blue balling her opponents to the point of defeat.

Etheryn you can just not have on your party so that you don't have to deal with her (Also on her initial thing just sick Cait on her), and I think you can give her a dildo to deal with her problem now.

Anyways, you're probably gonna be using the masturbation thing a lot, which is funny because I never saw a need for it when you have companions to fuck. I never saw the point to going fully abstinent in this game. It's a "challenge" sure but at what cost or gain do you get out of it outside missing the very bulk of why people even play the game? (The porn, the story comes second but let's be real, the majority of people come for the porn.)

As far as I am concerned, it's mostly doable, especially if you keep libido at bay. Moreso now that you can deal with Atugia's recruitment and Ryn's issues in a different way.

It's actually more viable than in CoC and especially TiTS, even if masturbation isn't allowed. The biggest problem is a lack of early-game Resolve-restoring powers, as the only reliable non-sex ways of restoring Resolve at this point require you to return to Hawkethorne (Cait's and Sanders' healing, and sleeping). It's still doable though (especially if you sleep every in-game day), and can become a non-issue without even leaving the Old Forest + Hawkethorne; Cait's Witch set (obtainable from Viviane) has a reliable, low-CD Resolve-restoring power in Eternal Light. Soothing Dance is even better, and its users (Quin and Sun-Dancer Cait) can both be gotten while you're still in low-level areas (specifically, North Harvest Valley, but Cait's set requires beating the Alraune first).

Content-wise, the main issues are that you'll be locked out of all pregnancy content (and thus most of Kiyoko's content and all of Kinu's) as well as romance content (particularly Kasyrra's), and will have to kill the Alraune (as sparing her requires sexing her). Etheryn's Blue Balls can be handled permanently by giving her a dildo or permission to seek out other companions for help, and if you want her at high Confidence you can give her hugs (there's no non-sexual way to increase her Libido, though). As Kesil said, keep your Libido low; specifically, below 10, as that's the minimum you need to get Blue Balls by not orgasming for long enough.

Yes, you are never required to have sex. You're going to get blue balled eventually but either masturbate or just live with the debuff.

I'm actually doing this too, more fun than I expected. A couple things I've found useful:
-Started my character off with the "reserved" perk, don't have to worry about blue balls.
-Learning bolstering dance will easily give you the advantage over enemies who target resolve, at least until you get far enough to get witch cait or dancer cait
-I always buy a trail ration when I know I have consecutive fights ahead of me, makes life much easier.

I believe the only sexual encounter you get forced into is during the purification of the Hornet dungeon. When you watch Liaden work her magic you are accosted by several hornets and have no option to refuse their advances.

Atugia is very useful if Resolve loss is something you are worried about, since she is an excellent hybrid tank (due to high Resolve defenses and recovering resolve each turn on her own) and a half-decent hybrid healer.

I hope in the future the opportunity to pass the game completely abstaining will remain. In a game like CoC2, this is especially fun for me. It's also kind of a moral challenge in some ways, like "can you stay completely pure?"

As Savin already said you are never required to have sex, .though you may be forced into certain story and/or gameplay choices as a consequence. For example, you'll have to kill the Alraune because the only way past her otherwise involves sex and you have to beat Nyzerrah via Health damage because the easier route of shaking your ass at her will make her so horny that she'll need relief before you can get with the talking. There's no reason to think this is going to change in the future.
