Hello, new here! I have been curious about writing new scenes for the game, so looked around forum and still have some questions left.

1. I found that "TFs are cosmetic", but there are scenes for specific transformations (like "play tag" with Kiyoko for lupines). So am I correct to think it's fine to treat them as not cosmetic if there are ways for player to progress with any transformation? Will it be fine if different TFs will be treated differently in text during a scene (for example, "Cuddle": Champion gets a hug by default, but if he has cat ears/fur/etc. he is petted instead) or is it better to lock specific options behind a choice (make "hug" and "pet" as different choices and "pet" is locked if Champion has no cat ears)? Or it doesn't matter and up to each author.

2. Can I link my scenes to existing ones? Let's say Champion noticed some traces on the ground which made him suspect there are mercenaries around, so he can turn back or continue. If he goes ahead it'll trigger current encounter event with them. (It should be still possible to meet them without seeing any traces first too). Oh, but if he turns back another random enemy encounter will pop up with, let's say, Spider Queen.;)

3. What if I need to change other author scene? Not to change the whole scene, but to add sentence here or there to accomodate additional option or add flavour text for some TFs. I have a feeling it's "ask the author to do so". But what if it's not a character text or it's written by author who isn't active anymore? And if it's meaningful change or at least QoL, not flavour one? At the moment I have in mind tentacle monster TF. Its description tells you can get any type of cock, but it's used as a solid one with specific size in all scenes. I'm not about to suggest smth impossible as to change all scenes, but it'll be really helpful for such monster to have additional sentence in Appearance like: "Currently its preferred size is XXX", especially with scenes in the game locked behind size (Etheryn). Tentacle monsters also want to know which size they can use!

The "TFs are cosmetic" rule is really only there so that the PC's appearance doesn't affect anything plot-relevant (e.g. combat, story progression options) and thus players don't feel like they need to take a certain TF for the optimal gameplay experience. It's more than okay to have variations within a scene depending on the PC's appearance - they make it more engaging for the player - so long as those variations don't affect the overall outcome of the scene (the obvious exception being genitals in sex scenes). Same goes for scenes gated behind specific appearances, so long as those scenes don't do anything plot-relevant (e.g. using wings to bypass an obstacle by flying over it is not allowed).

Up to the author's preference, though if the variations are significant enough that the different variants have little to no overlap, I'd recommend making them separate scenes.

For both of these, your feeling on the latter is correct.

In these cases, it should be fine, but if you really want to make sure you're not treading on anyone's toes, ask Savin.
