Tamriel and the Wasteland, among other Realms.
There's a holiday event where Anno, Kadae, and Syri, abduct you and analy "probe" you, so my theory is that Mareth is not another dimension but actually many light years away maybe a another 20 or more planet rushes. Yes I'm saying that Kas skipped space travel no I'm not saying that demon queen Syri is the same that's definitely a whole other dimension.
The event is most likely April fools.
So your thoughts.

The event is a Silly Mode exclusive, but personally I still like to muse about the ways you can stick a round peg of a fantasy world(s) into the square hole of a Sci-fi universe. Loved the connecton GW built between WHF and WH40k for that very reason, before it got retconned and then WHF got blown up.

TiTS lore does have these fellas and the thing they worship. So you can go the easy Warp/Eldritch route, just like what WH used. The Tear being involved will also potentially explain how Captain Steele got fucked up so bad the pupper girls need to find the cure ASAP.

I think it can appear in the April fools day range without silly mode on as well.

The event is an April Fools/Silly Mode thing and not canon. Tainted Space is explicitly not a part of the same multiverse that Mareth and Savarra inhabit. So you can come up with your Warhammer 40K explanations for what the puppers are doing in Savarra and what happened to their Captain Steele but none of it's canon to CoC2 or to TiTS, though you're free to imagine it's true for whatever parallel universe just happens to greatly resemble TiTS that is home to the trio.

Don't forget the (murder) orgies. Warp reflects and is shaped by any emotions that are felt strongly enough by a big enough group of sapient beings. So a TiTS to CoC2 highway inside of it will be a very lively place indeed.

Thanks for the thread link, as always. Reading through it was worth it for the "Planescape: Cock and Ball Torment" line alone, lol. Though now that I think about it, CoC2 can definitely do with its own Morte, even if will not be in a companion role.

I periodically get an itch to get into deeper Halo lore, but always postpone it for one reason or another. Is the lore still good after all this time and any potential retcons post-Bungie devs might have engaged in?

The lore itself is fine. Post 3 isn't as interesting but it's perfectly fine. Now the handling is where that falls apart. 343 either needs to outsource their writing, or give up on story completely and just make a multiplayer game with an offline horde mode.

And then there are the brilliant (no) rightsholders in the form of GW, who have allowed tons of books to be written that contradict each other, as well as changing what is canon and what is not completely random.
