A Remaster of CoC

Happy New Year to everyone! Now as the title states, I want everybody to be open about this topic, Idk if this will gain any traction, but i'm hoping. Corruption of Champions is a great game, I'd like to believe one day we'll get a remaster, but Idk if that's ever gonna happen or right around the corner. It has a lot of great moments and some, much darker, but no matter how you play it, you have good time. Which begs the question. Can it or Will it not happen. My thought was to make a petition with enough signatures, but I didn't think it'd work. This is to be openly explored; I did nothing to contribute other than start the push, talk just about anything you'd think would be nice to see in it or specifically fixed, or just something simple like constant Hud adaption to your characters changes. It's anything and everything we could ever want, there are so many things we can dive into. But I digress, less about what I think, but what all of you think(The Community).

I never got around to playing the first one. I was only told how it gone everywhere and know where at the same time. In story telling, bugs, levels, items, Transformative's and such. but then again A lot of people was adding onto that game, making it feel like to much.

But I would like to see a Remaster take on coc, the game that started this hole thing. With the same mechanics or engine they used for coc2. mostly cause I like it a lot.

I do under stand the work load would be too high on fixing the things that game has with in it. so I'm not keeping my hopes up on a Remaster.

This is not to make you feel bad for wanting a Remaster take on a game that new players never got a chance to play. so good on you for looking out on that!

I personally would like a CoC1 remake where it'd built from the ground up using the original as source material rather than a remaster where it's just cleaning up the old game's code and UI and added new art. But with the current development of two games right now, I don't think they'd have time or resources to do anything with CoC1 at the moment. And that's under the assumption that they'd even have the interest of doing anything like that which they don't.

Honestly, I'd just like to be able to play it again, nothing works when trying to play the Original, using the download links etc, on my PC just results in every browser either unable to run it, due to the death of Flash, or the browser refusing to open the file, no matter what tricks I try. I'd honestly just like a format that I could run on Windows, even just an external player that runs it like CoC2 would be nice imho. But that's because I've been with CoC since the early days and I dearly miss playing it from time to time. Q.Q

In another thread believe Gedan posted something called CoC ruffle, which does indeed let you play CoC, but it's still fairly choppy and he's still working on it. Believe it was said when it was finished, it will be added to play page.
