If by quest you mean getting her out of the Astral Plane then yes, clearing the Den of Foxes quest is required before you can do that. If you mean the Educational Help quest, that one randomly procs and it can be done any time between Kinu's birth and freeing them from the Astral Plane.

Is it possible to fight the den mother and do the quest ?
Or do I have to choose one ?

No though if you have the Amulet on you( maybe even with you) avoid fighting the den Mother and any bad ends if you lose

The reason why I want to fight the den mother is
I didn't fight her in my first pc

So I wanted to try it

But at the same time I want the senninbari

I guess I have to choose one of them

I'm very confused. What are you referring to when you say Kiyoko's quest? She doesn't have an official quest in the Journal, so without any further context the term is ambiguous. Do you mean the act of freeing her from the Astral Plane? The build-up to said act (i.e. everything from picking up the amulet, to meeting Kiyoko, to making Kinu)? Both? The Educational Help quest? Something else?

In any case, the only thing that's mutually exclusive with fighting Komari is having the Amulet of Transference/Union on you when you do the Den of Foxes quest; if you have the Amulet but still want to fight her, put it in storage before entering the den. Releasing Kiyoko, Kinu etc. from the Astral Plane does require completing Den of Foxes, but everything involving them prior to that is independent of Den of Foxes and can be done regardless of if you've completed it; just make sure to complete Educational Help before releasing them.

EDIT: ninja'd. You get the senninbari as a gift from Kiyoko and her kid(s) once they're freed from the Astral Plane, and I don't think fighting Komari should affect that (I haven't tried it myself, so I can't say for certain). Like I said, if you have the Amulet, put it in storage before entering the den and you can still fight Komari. Alternatively, pick up the Amulet after the fight, then do Kiyoko's and Kinu's content as usual.

I'm really sorry for the confusion
And what I meant by her quest is freeing her from the astral plane(I really thought it was an actual quest lol)

Also thank you for helping me

As I mentioned earlier, completing the Den of Foxes quest is required to free Kiyoko et al from the Astral Plane. It doesn't matter how you do it, so whether or not you fought Komari has no impact on getting the Senninbari later.

Yeah you just can't have the Amulet either equipped or in your Inventory at the time

oh the no was on choosing which one Like WolfraamL say it has no effect but if you have the Amulet with you then that the den mother fight is skipped and it blocks any bad end don't bring it with you and you will go through den of Foxes like you never picked it up

actually if I remember correctly one of the fights can cause a bad end even if you have the amulet on you, it's Nanako I think, he beheads you when he beats you. I may be mistaken though since I'm always overleveled when I get around to doing kitsune dungeon because I always get floofwife to nine tails before doing it.

Good thing that idiot is too weak to beat me

To be honest I don't like him at all and the worst part is that he is kinu fiancé

ya he's just another reason I always go Inari Kinu besides the fact that hime tries far too hard to please others to her own detriment. Inari's only downside is that she basically hates her mom, which is something that could easily get better after she has kids of her own.

I think that every personality type have a downside
hime kinu tries to put others before her self (will I think that something admirable) I don't want my child to live for other people .

As for inari kinu her downside is that she won't ask for help or work with other people.

It's important to be able to rely on your self but I think it's as important to know when to ask for help .
As for her relationship with her mother I believe it's as you said

He tries to decapitate you but the amulet protects you.
Thanks was thinking about trying it but didn't want to end up disappointed as well as leaving my fox wife and children hanging. I've already beaten it but doing a test run to see what would happen.

Damn I just play on story if I want to get my ass kicked I'll just play Halo on Legendary or cod on veteran. I mean with CoC2 and TiTs it's fun, porn, and enjoying things that I find funny from certain scenes.

I mean he's not that bad bit of a hardass but at least kinu makes him better in certain ways I feel like a dick when I cross that line with kinu that ends your visit with her.
