A Question about Saving

I'm not really sure that I should post this here, but here it goes.....

I haven't been really following TiTS for a long while now and have just really gotten back. I played yesterday and when trying to save, I found myself that I couldn't. Every time I tried to save in the game, it says that it failed to try again. So I tried saving the progress I had by downloading the file into my computer, but I just get an infinite screen saying "Attempting to Save File....". Am I doing or missing something here?

Also, I play in Chrome on a Windows PC. :/

I recommend using the flash standalone player to play the game. I've been hearing constant tales of woe from people who keep trying to play them in browsers, probably due to flash being phased out with it's now imminent demise on the horizon.
