A Question about Brother Sanders

If the White and Red Clothing, Robes, Cloaks, etc. are the garb worn primarily by Lumians (People who follow and worship Lumia) then how come Brother Sanders still wears the White and Red Priest Robes of a Lumian if he is no longer one and is a Velunite now? Do the Velunites not have their own garb and Priestly Robes? Or does he specifically still wear Lumian Robes out of a sense of nostalgia or honor or whatever?
