Welp, I've just screwed up... Had to clear my cache and cookies to fix a time keeper log in issue (so I could get paid) and forgot I didn't have an actual save file. So my precious gooey Azyra Steele is no more. :'( Can I cry now? Or do I not deserve it for being so absent minded?

This terrified me into backing up all my save files by emailing them to myself. None can take my pr0n from me!!!

It is because of this EXACT thing that I now keep an up-to-date copy of EACH save file on a thumb drive that I keep in my desk here. Never again will I lose 600 days of progress and character-tuning

XD well it wasn't 600 days, (closer to 150) but still, I made a lot of progress, and the prospect of having to redo a lot of that is just... ugh.

There's a Firefox extension called Better Privacy that lets you configure how flash cookies work, including protecting certain .sol files.

Along with clearing out unwanted flash cookies it's also good for protecting things like saves.

May they rest in the abyss of deleted files. You could cheat your way through and use save editor to get your character to look exactly how it used to and then rush through the story to your last point of action.

Stop using 'Save' and start using 'Save file' so you can control where your saves a stored

Glad to know I'm not the only one that does that...

lol, no. not a work computer. the contracting agency that is employing me uses an online time tracking system, so I just access a website and put down the time I work. But I had troubles logging in, hence the cache clearing.
