I'm experiencing the same issue. To add to this, though, it's not that your opponent is referred to as she/her if you lose against a male - it's that it plays the female loss scene instead of the male one, which currently seems to be inaccessible.

I've attached a couple of screenshots, one after the other, to try to demonstrate this. I note, though, that the parser doesn't seem to be working in the first screenshot either: at the end, where it says "penetrate your ." Could this be related?

I'm having the same issue on the newest backer's patch. It always plays the female guard scene.
