edit: found a fix for this internally, reviewing it with staff.

Of note though, I did use a save editor a couple of times for the aforementioned error/save (https://start-5.github.io/TiTS.JS-Save-Editor/). I'm hoping it's still applicable.

If need be, I could set up a fresh cheat save with no editor to see if I can replicate.
