According to the wiki Both Amber seed and Reptilium are supposed to be able to grant the Oviposition Perk

However, after many many doses and after all other transformations have taken place the PC does not gain the perk.

In-game under Race tab in the codex the oviposition perk is listed under Reptilium for the lezan race percentage but it is absent from amberseeds Avian Section.

I have used so many doses of both. Up untill the point where amberseed keeps telling me that I'm as avian as I can be or Reptilium constantly spams that it's a dud over and over.

The Oviposition perk is a bit of an opt-in perk in that the character should be fertile and already be pregnant with an Ovilium egg pregnancy (commonly by using the Ovilium item, or get impregnated by an NPC with that pregnancy type--I don't think the Egg Trainer counts). In the latest release, for an avian, you'll need a score of 4 or more; and for lizan, you'll need a score of 6 or more.

I tested full transformations for both amberseed and Reptilium with full scores and it still did not proc.

I haven't tried with a pregnancy tho.

Yea, I think it's the Ovilium egg pregnancy that you are missing in particular--that egg pregnancy type should be the key to enabling the Oviposition perk.

You were correct I needed the ovilium for Amberseed to grant the perk. However that's not the case for Reptilium, it still fails to grant the perk.

Additionally once the perk is obtained it doesn't appear to trigger at all. I've slept for days now over and over and nothing happens. As well as had sex that resulted in insemination but no pregnancy.

I tested this a bit myself and it seems it is possible to get the perk with Reptilum--you just need to make sure the lizan score is 6 or more (and possibly a bit of luck!).

As for the subsequent egg pregnacies, that is dependant on your character's fertility. The higher the fertility, the shorter the timespan it is until the next egg generation. At the moment, it takes approximately 30 days for the next egg batch to form from a fertility level of 1, in a non-pregnant womb.

Hope this helps.
