0.9.064 Cargobot can crash the game if used instead of equipped

While trying to overcome an inventory problem, I tried to equip the Cargobot item. Pressing the use button, instead of the equip button, causes the game to suffer a critical error, as seen below. error could possibly be that the cargo drone can be used, instead of being equipped only.

Where were you and what version were you on? Can you reproduce it in 0.9.065? If so, please give more specific instructions, and maybe upload your Save.
The 'Use' button is greyed out, even on New Texas (where this kind of thing used to happen all the time). It's also possible this has been fixed already.

I was on the Sidewinder ship, before hijacking it on zheng shi.
the version used was 0.9.064.
I do not know if it can be replicated in 0.9.065
I have yet to try replicating it myself
