Managed to hit a 'Critical Error' in build #3552 where trying to tease with chest against glowing raider on first round of combat

Hmm, teasing them works over here on the dev build, so it may be something specific to your character. Can you share your save?

Fixed I think; the glowy boy was trying to create a status with an invalid value which would later blow up in the combat management code.
