[ 0.9.002-BACKER#2105] Electrified Shock Blade crashes the game

Electrified Shock Blade in inventory crashes the game when trading with a vendor. Tried several including Anno, Carl and Colenso. Opening ship storage causes the same crash as well.
Edit: Just noticed that trying to drop it will also cause the same crash. This means I'm stuck with it for now, can use it without error but trying to remove it in any way breaks the game.

I'm assuming you got that Shock Blade from disarming and defeating Zaalt in the Ice Queen Quest.
That weapon is bugged because it was given: .hasDynamicProperties = true while in Zaalt's inventory (I believe it was fixed in current patch).

I believe you can fix it by:
  • Equip the Shock Blade.
  • Open the console (F12).
  • Type: pc.inventory.meleeWeapon.hasDynamicProperties = false;
  • It should be working (and make sure to save your game afterwards).

Could be, there is no discernable (in-game) difference between Zaalt's and Dane's Electric Shock Blade, but I did notice that the same problem wasn't present on another save.

I wonder how do you know those things.
It has been a problem affecting other people in the previous patches because they recently changed how items merge together (because of a bug with the milk bags). And I believe the Shock Blade was a common problem.
And the reason why I was invested is that I used .hasDynamicProperties = true to start creating my own custom items/gear (due to roleplay reasons, and not to create op weapons) and these custom gear crashed the game with the new changes (thankfully, Gedan created a way for custom items to work without crashing and I haven't fallen into any problems yet.)

But to be fair it might be a different bug because I haven't seen any one else report the bug again in the Version#2104/2105.
Did my fix work or is it still bugged?

I managed to overwrite the save before trying... :rolleyes:
But it worked perfectly last patch so something happened in this one. And on the topic of milk bags, they seem to be slightly bugged atm but I need to test it further. (when having different sizes you can only sell the top one, forcing you to sell one type, close trading, reopen and sell another)
 
You can just get so built up and milky you really can't be bothered anymore. Once you drop a load into the magic Milker at that point, all you get are burst bags.

Otherwise there simply isn't a market for them, even if dangerously overfilled to the point of rupture and you have Anno on board to sell to.
