The bug could be very specific:
It isn't possible to open the drop-down menu to solve wordchest while the game is in fullscreen.
This probably is a linux-only issue (using Steam with Proton Experimental, but tried other versions).
When it is not in fullscreen you can see that the game on the taskbar actually ..jumps to the right (as in last opened program) while the drop-down menu is opened and then jumps back to its original place once it is closed.
This is so weird I had to mention it.
