So, you land on Mhenga, you walk into the jungle, you encounter a female Zil for the first time. Whether you choose to "leave" or "sex" (not submit, we'll get to that) you are greeted to a message at the bottom of your area descriptions: You’re still in combat, you ninny!
The only way to avoid this is to fight the zil female on your first ever encounter. Any other result means you get this message. But wait, there's more, if you encounter the female Zil with the option to 'get honey' AND 'submit' you are also going to get the message: You’re still in combat, you ninny!
This is resolved by simply saving and reloading the game HOWEVER a fun side effect: If you use ANY consumable on any planet after any amount of time without doing so you will however INSTANTLY enter combat with the female zil you didn't beat the tar out of earlier.
As a little extra side lore: The female zil who doesn't have the option to Get Honey and only has 'submit' will not violently accost you for using a consumable from the opposite end of the galaxy.
