This line appears even when you've never done the big naughty with Gwyn. Should there be a check for this? Is there one that's failing?

Nowhere does this scene imply that the player's having sex with Gwyn or even that she's alluding to sex at all. She could be doing that because the PC goes on violent adventures and doesn't want the kiddos to hear those stories.

Especially since all the stories of defeat would end in either sex, or lots of sex. And then there's the non-combat "adventures." Those definitely aren't for children's ears.

In short, you're not wrong.

It still seems a bit odd, though, especially since Gwyn isn't an NPC you can explicitly tell stories to. Though, if you want to imply naughtiness in headpats and tummy rubs, well... guilty there. Hah.

Anyway, I don't intend to argue this further, I have CoC 2 play with and typos and the like to watch for.

It's not an exact thing, but I think you're carrying ten vesparan children.

Refer to this post, as it contains the same vesparan pregnancy and another concurrent pregnancy. After giving birth to the infant wyld elves, the number of vesparan eggs incubating has doubled, as though they now occupy both spaces! There has been no hornet-sex, or even any encounter with hornets (even Azyrran), between then and now. It may or may not matter which children are set to come out of which orifice.

Something isn't right here.

1. "Elfs" should be "Elves", but flags/code here may or may not allow. The final sentence has two issues: "For" should probably be replaced by "Giving you" so the sentence stands alone better, even though I see what the original writer was doing here, but it's a bit rough, especially after a long list; "all of which" could use code to handle one or two children ("which you mothered" and "both of which you mothered", and mixed fathered/mothered variations) if that's possible

edit: as an alternative, instead of "2 Wyld Elfs/Elves", perhaps it would make sense to turn things around, e.g. "Wyld Elf: 2" or "Wyld Elves: 2"?

2. This sentence appears to have no check (or any stored reference) to consider that these children are twins, especially since it makes a guess that one is more likely to be a half-sibling. Maybe it should have a check? (that sounds slightly painful work-wise though)

You've come across these before in your past — wordlock chests, a favourite of the old Belharan nobility, meant to safeguard valuables from illiterate servants. Each of these combination locks was secured by a password, and to help the owner remember what it was, a riddle was often posed on the chest itself. If you could solve it and thereby rotate the tumblers into the right position, the chest would unlock and allow you to claim its contents.

Where to begin? I suppose with this: Must this introduction be shown every time you locate a wordlock chest?

"before in your past": please choose only "before" or "in your past", the current phrasing is weirdly redundant

Additionally, "solve it and thereby rotate the tumblers into the right position," should be the other way around: "rotate the tumblers into the right position and thereby solve it," due to "thereby" meaning "by that means"

Considering how much text is shared between instances of wordlock chest appearances, it might be a good idea to check the others for these errors, either when you get the chance or I play through them again
