[0.4.37] "Family Matters" gone from quest journal

I noticed today that the "Family Matters"-quest is completely gone from my characters quest journal. My character had already completed everything until after the Cassia sex scene and was on the incest route. When I opened the games console and took a look at the QuestManager, I saw that all steps of completion of the quest were gone, though my character still can't enter the village. Same as when you finish the Cassia sex scene.

Can't say for certain if the bug happened this patch or one of the ones prior though. I haven't checked in forever since the quest hasn't been updated in a while.

Yes, and I mentioned in my post that I know that it stops there. I guess I didn't make that clear enough in my post.

However it should still be in my quest journal. With the entry "This is as far as this quest progresses for now." Which it isn't.


Addendum: I just made a new character and quickly rushed to Brienne's home village to see what might have caused the issue and realized that romanced Rina is supposed to join in on quickies that the pc and Brienne are having. That was never the case on the save file that I posted.
Since from when Rina romance was implemented, although I had chosen the incest route, she never joined in on quickies and instead the game treated it as though I never accepted Family Matters which means that she takes Briennes place instead of joining in on the sex.

I checked your save file:
In quest arrays you have empty array in place of Family Matters quest - as you never did that quest on other hand you have Rina flags like:
"RINA_COWGIRL": 1,
"RINA_THROAT": 1,
"RINA_ANAL": 1,

Really strange thing.

Edit: My bet would be: your combinations in that quest has bug that wipes that array or Devs wanted to repair something in saves and fucked up your save.
Do you have autosave? But open it through older version.

I don't have any older saves and and certainly not from much older versions of the game. But it's alright.

Could probably get the quest and progress back via console commands but I'd rather report the bug and see if a fix might happen before I dabble with my files.

Restarting quest via console will probably not help you as (if I remember correctly) that grey out village button is tied to Cassia date flag not state of quest and takes priority over a lot of other stuff. You would need to clear up flags (with Rina and Cassia) to get that to work.

I could do all the steps of the quest via console to get back to the latest stage of it. In fact, I already tried and it seemed to work. But I don't wanna accidentally fuck up something else so I'm not gonna save my changes.

€: It even made the game acknowledge that my character accepted Brienne's incest proposal. So, uhm.. It certainly is a bit weird.

I had in mind starting that quest via console and then progress normally. If you force every step by console it will work, as most checks are on buttons not inside methods.

I'm assuming this save did Family Matters stuff before 0.4.21? The quest states were all fucked up before that, and the save-upgrade code tries it's best to fix saves from earlier versions, but it's possible your specific set of flags/states fell through the cracks and wasn't able to be fixed. If that's the case then the best you could do is try and fix the quest states/flags manually.
