Is there any way to enhance armor/weapons or you have to get lucky with a +1 or +2 drop?

By the way I went with Oni in the Beast Warrior build and I wanna know where I can get some kimonos. I know Izumi drops one but is there any other options? Also how do you go above Racial Score 12 on Oni? I'm stumped on that.

I wish you could could get 2handed like bonus on 1handed non light weapons like Frosthammer and Ashelander when not wielding anything else. It kinda sucks that they're just worse than 2handed for dps
