Currently, it can be used to cancel an active Heat, but if you have it set to 0 Fertility at 00:00 (when Heat Cycle updates), Heat Cycle will be removed.

What are your Perks/Stats/Equipemnt? There are ways to do some nutty damage. Entropic Leech -> Gravity Crush can two-round most things, for example. Even smaller enemies. Freezing and Corrosive are good damage types on Phaedra.
