Looking over the flags, it seems that the Radglow influence is displayed as "Dominance" percentage under the Radglow's encounter data, similar to the Venus Pitcher.

There is an .ico file that I had made that should be being used by the Electron build of the game, I think (it is set as the icon parameter in createWindow()). Otherwise, the only other connection to the icon files would be the .png via the HTML link tags in the index's header.

Sure, there are/were plans on making toggles for things like that. If you can provide a save file I can test with, I'll try to look into it to see if I can get a simple system working for toggling prefix/suffix for non-unique races.
