I only take Gravidic on the promise of enemies eventually having Thermal resist, or for enemies I can't hit with basic attacks for some reason. Since Tech's are highly dependant on energy weapons, choosing a special that DOESN'T do energy damage seems prudent.

It literally makes you travel faster. As in, moving from tile to tile consumes less in-game time. So it doesn't really do anything USEFUL, per se.

That's also kind of a drag. I think the map interface works just fine in and of itself -- the problem is that each "zone" is usually separate from all the others, and you often have to slog a long ways to get fucking anywhere. TiTS needs better fast travel, basically. This disconnect between...

THAT is a legitimately decent idea -- have an optional hard or whatever mode -- rather than expecting the majority of people to voluntarily put on Easy Mode (they won't). But that's something that, at best, would have to wait until near or after the game's completion, since what you're asking...

It's not really SUPPOSED to (different classes kind of do that, but that's about it). Games like TiTS and CoC are much more about playing one or two characters for many, many years as new content rolls out.

*Salamander Pistol and Vamp Blade. Grey Goo armor is pretty great, especially if you wear the Lightning Duster. For build, I usually go with: Attack Drone Overcharge Power Surge Gravidic Disruptor Gun Tweaks Weapon Hack Second Shot Though YMMV across the board. 

Clearly the solution is to just make more enemies that are outright immune to physical damage, or you have to status down before you can actually hit at all  :P
