This actually seems kind of on-theme for Smugglers. At most, you can make 66,880 Credits/trip (Taurico Venidae, 22 slots 783,420 - 716,540). There is definitely a bug, though. You can buy as many GaloMax from him as you can afford (and/or fit in your inventory), but only once. Same with Sera.

I think at least one coder should take a day or two and handle some of the bugs, first. It seems to me that Ranged Critical Hits not working (+Alpha Strike and Aimed Shot) and inability to change weapons in combat (among others) should take priority.

What version are you trying to convert with? 0.8.160 is the latest. I believe it had an update without changing the version number, too (updating the conversion function). If it still doesn't work, you could try uploading your saves here.
