The games are made by different companies and their development speeds are unrelated. That said, CoC2 intentionally has a much smaller scope than TiTS and when it's DONE will probably have roughly equivalent content to what TiTS has NOW.

Why does that make her harder to find -- you literally cannot miss her and she's immediately there whenever your waystone in.

Every scene is hand-written from scratch; can't write everything for every character. Sometimes you just don't want to write certain things, or you don't have the time.

Yeah, she's meant to evoke a Ranger's skillset: a little nature magic, a little bow-use, and an animal buddy.

The PC in this game can start as a member of several different races, which necessitates that either pregnancy ends up being horribly complex (you're not making human/whatever hybrids but potentially one of five starting race/whatever hybrids) or else we have to take the PC out of the equation...

I too would love to see the "even rougher" meter applied to even more content, similar to calling him "daddy" spreading out to the Elthara content.

Yeah that's how it's meant to work. That way she's a reasonable tank for early-game resolve attacker parties too.
