You do not actually become a demon at 100 Corruption. It's just a warning that you're effectively as corrupt as a demon would be.

I would suggest reading and following up on events before the boss more closely. There is an INCREDIBLY HARD version of the boss and an INCREDIBLY EASY version you can access instead by following hints, and I suspect you got the former.

Implementing Dark Tide's Psykanium would be pretty neat.

It's still tech I definitely want to explore in the future.
