1% Taint isn't a big deal; it goes away after 3 days. You can counter the Libido increase via a Chill Pill afterward. Unless you're determined to absolutely, positively never gain a single point of Taint for RP purposes?

I doubt you're going to get any answer but 'oversight'. I suggest posting this in the Bugs forum. It probably isn't intentional and should be addressed.

I don't know why changing the email address causes bugs in messages, but it does. IIRC, changing only the email, then saving, then reloading prevents the bug, but it's probably too late now.

Did you edit your characters email name?

In the Public GitHub, it's a RangedCombatMiss check (best 2 out of 3). While the Public is very out of date (8.065), it's possible this is a side-effect of the changes to accuracy & evasion.

Are you on mobile? If you're on PC, you can use a standalone Flash player. The usual recommended option is the official 'debugger'. The Editor should auto-detect saves from the standalone. If you're on mobile, you need a way to transfer your saves to a PC and back.
