I have an interest in this project, but am strongly against NPC fathers, as I believe the best way to make this work would be generic pregnancies only, and only with mobs with no social pregnancy scenes hooked in. Good examples are Sydian pregnancy and Zil pregnancy with baby-daddy interactions...

A rework producing a codex and new characters for an existing species would be received far better than a new species. I think this has good potential as a sparadat piece and poor odds as a completely new concept, and would be excited to see the existing minor cores races developed further
