Changing the extension on the file doesn't change its format. The editor cannot read the .tits format files, and that isn't gonna change for a long time. Unless someone really wants it and codes/submits a pull request.

It wasn't just hoping for the best, the source for TiTS defines those values as a Number, the closest to a Number in C# is a double. A whole lot of other fields would have the same problem if they could ever be that large...

This should be fixed now, in v0.24.1.

Latest release of the editor has the new perks and items from the 0.7.59 public build I just marked them "deprecated" like I did to the Level 1 perks. This helps quite a bit, actually :)
