Thanks! Was able to fix these. Kind of weird this went unreported for so long. Was able to fix stuff on last patch, but there's some other serious bugs here too. Really old code. Edit: ahh, figured it out. The game had a weird coding convention where it passed around all a functions arguments...

Hard to tell on info here, the hammer pistol doesn't go through shields yes but what was the shield rating on the techie at the time?

This is a known issue, there really isn't a good way around it for now. If you are stuck, just start over again.

I was finally able to find a way to reliably repro Failed to find a UI state to apply issues and ged thinks they have a way to stop them for happening next patch.
