Hello, I have a question related to gear.
Is there a list of the best to worst melee and ranged weapons in game?
Also is there good picks for smuggler mercenary build?

There’s a full list of weapons on the wiki with stats. I don’t know about a ranked list but you can definitely find the stats from there and determine it from that.

In my experience, for the most part you don’t necessarily need to min/max this game. There are some who do that and you can do a quick search of the forum for builds but for the most part that won’t matter. Just make sure to enjoy yourself along the way.

The Smuggler in particular doesn't need much besides evasion, but the Hirudo Devourer on a ranged build gives pretty fantastic survivability.
