I never slept with the amulet, so never met Kiyoko. Yet, I talked to the trapped kitsune, then defeated the alarune on the bridge, then went on to take Evergreen's missing pouch quest, then met the kitsune where the game seems to think I know Kiyoko even though I shouldn't know her name.
