Guys for some time I look for erotic games in general but I really see very little content with quality, few games that really are worth. I refer the question of graphics.
It is a shame to see that there are so few significant games.
In my experience when it comes to erotic games its content and writing that matters, not so much the graphics. I mean, look at TiTs, CoC and FoE - they're basically text games (and highly regarded ones as that). The point of it all is to stimulate the player through their imagination, not relying on graphics like pornography already does. Not to mention the expenses required to develop a full fledged AAA erotic game, that is also visually-appealing, is something many indie developers simply can't afford. And larger companies usually refuse to dabble into this genre because 1) there's your legal restrictions and 2) its a niche genre where the rewards aren't nearly enough to offset the costs spent on the project.
I tend to stay away from them because visuals don't assure quality at all, in fact, its almost a rule of thumb that a game that invests too much in graphics will usually do poorly in everything else, and when they release sequels its usually just a rehash of what has already been done and used, but with different covers and slightly different features. You see this A LOT in many Japanese games which IMO is BS and nothing but a milking scam... but thirsty fans don't care about that, they just want their fap material. At that point I'm left wondering - if I'm just going to watch 2 realistic characters fuck each other with little to no interaction or story, why not simply settle for porn... which is mostly FREE and requires a lot less work to obtain?
That being said, if you're looking for something a bit more "visual" then here's a few suggestions I can think of: 3D Sexvilla, Artificial Academy and Artificial Girl 3. They're not free by the way. The first one is western but the other two are japanese and are a bit more finicky and require you to follow a list of instructions in order to install properly (plus the english patch). If you want to take a look at these two, Hongfire (Hentai section) is a pretty good website to check out as it also includes a community patch for the bigger games that add a lot of goodies and include an english patch as well! I used to be a regular there and I highly recommend it but let me warn you - people (and mods) over there are a bit strict in the sense they WANT you to search BEFORE asking anything. I saw several people getting some heat because of that. Also, DON'T ask for torrents or anything illegal - use google instead or pay attention to the main post in a thread (it usually contains a helpful "hint" in there).
My opinion of these games:
-- 3D Sexvilla has probably one of the BEST character customization systems I've seen in a game like this. There's a poor attempt at creating a small story for each setting but really, you just position the characters and use interact with them with a wide variety of tools and toys till they cum. IMO it gets boring fast because of how repetitive it is. Good for a fap or two but that's pretty much it - I prefer more... mentally stimulating games like text-based ones... but it may suit you. Visually, this is the best looking game of all 3 options.
-- Artificial Academy... is a point-and-click game where you control one student and try to carry on with your daily life as... well... a student. This game also presents a fairly decent character creator, with several options in terms of hair, eyes, accessories, colors, personalities, etc for you to choose from. IMO I think the first 1 is probably better because it has more content to go along with it (mods) and feels a bit more fleshed out. The second game is also good and has a few extra features the first one doesn't. If you love writing stories for your characters that involve lots of deception, manipulation and general chaos then this game may just be for you! By the way... you can murder your fellow classmates. Visually the game is quite poor but the 3D renders using during the sex scenes are good.
-- Artificial Girl 3 is a game where you're a guy and do things to a girl. The sex is a lot more interesting gameplay-wise than the other two games (you control the movements and the speed at which they go). It also has a TON of mods and pretty good customization but the game is old and somewhat poor... graphically-wise. It has a lot of avid fans that still vouch for it even to this day so I guess that means something.
