We may just get that chance. Now that Phaedra appears in the encounters log, I see this:

Time to open yet another wing in the Steele nursery.
On the note of the encounters log: all the Phaedra encounters are showing a count of 1, and I know I've encountered several of them more than once.

Is it supposed to be that the only way past the Bouncer is to fight her? You cannot seduce her, fuck her senseless, and then move past her? Because in 0.9.153-public just seducing her and having sex bounces you back one tile and does not remove her from your way - the only way around her is to fight.
I used the MS-XI with two Missile Turrets. Got it's Shields down in 6 rounds, defeated it on the 7th. Didn't even need to use the MS-XI's Shield Booster.
Or the Shield Vampire.
What weapons are you using? Shields are weak to Electric and Burning, resistant to Kinetic and Corrosive.
What ship are you using? There's a reason they give you the opportunity to steal the Sidewinder.

The Sledgehammer has a built-in Shield Disruptor (unless you imported a save from Flash). And better Systems than the Guardian of Flame. You should be able to reliably do half it's shields in one round.
The new Deployable Drone Swarm you can buy from Synphia gives you a 0 Energy Electric attack every round and you can install multiple if you have spare slots.
If the Guardian of Flame's Shields are the problem, that might help.

the guardian of flame is a bit bullshit, but I tend to get brickwalled often due to my insistence that "bigger number better", who wants the qcomm transciever? best ways to defeat the bimbo? (preferably kinetiscist ability based) and lastly, are there any more sealed power armors past the akiki depth suit? also, why wouldn't power armor be sealed? (seriously, mighty confused to how a suit of tank armor actuated by magic boxes is able to be pierced by needles as easy as a shirt that has less form than an ice cube in summer)
1. Balek Crisp (above) claims to have beaten the Guardian of Flame with the starter ship, neglected to share their setup. Personally, I like either the MS-XI or Sidewinder with Missile Turrets. I've never had a problem.
2. You can get a bit of exposition from Anno by showing her the Transceiver. I don't believe it has any other use (currently).
3. High Crit rate* + Deep Impact + Haste/Force Darts can stunlock most things. Alternatively, Entropic Leech (Deep Freeze) + Gravity Crush/Acid Cloud does huge damage.
*Witch's Robe, Reaper's Cloak, Trailbazer Hat, Custom Psi Weapon. Max 50%.
4. It's my opinion that Power Armors aren't good in general, but Paragon Hazard Armor is probably the best available. Remember: If you have a negative total Evasion, you take more damage.
