I know you need to be hard personality to collar her, but what happens if you switch to mischievous afterwards?

Nothing. You can even go to full on kind.

Step 1: defeat space pirates, extort them for credits, turn them into the UGC. Become Rich and Hard-hearted
Step 2: acquire the refurbished collar and defeat the Ebony Slavebreaker
Step 3: collar and train her to a path of redemption
Step 4: donate all the pirate money to ausar charities and restore your kind heart.

I guess I have a piggyback off this. Once you mod your personality to get her, how do you train her? Do you have to keep the hard personality type or are there specific triggers or is it not implemented yet. There's not a lot of info I can find for post recruitment.

Punishment and reward options in the menu basically. The Codex encounter log under zheng shi keeps track of her obedience.

Thanks I guess my question is how to access those menus because they're greyed out for me and the tracker is at 0 lol I have modded this save multiple times over the span of its existence so totally willing to accept if I borked something just trying to get pointed in the right direction

I just went through the whole process of enslaving her and it seems your just supposed to wait a few in game days till you can punish her. The grayed out tooltip on punish says to let her stew on the ship. After passing time a bunch of days I didn't count I could punish her. I did also do all the talk options before passing time if that's relevant idk.

Yeah, if you can't interact much with her, just wait a few days.

Actually did this...quest?...myself recently. Too hard for my tastes, but very well written.
